ABOUT THE POSITION This is a key role in our growing company. A Game Designer at Tenstar is an expert at solving recurring problems in simulation development, and thus answering the question of how reality should be mirrored in a 3D game engine. The job includes documenting the needs and systems, then driving communication and processes between programmers and 3D artists. The goal is to ensure that our exercise setups and features are built in the best way with the end user's experience in focus. You will work in a creative and agile team, where the end product is simulators that offer realistic training environments for vehicles and machinery used by schools and training companies worldwide. Compared to digital games, you will design complete exercises for vehicles and machinery in a game engine, with realism as the main focus.

TASKS

  • Develop and communicate design setups and documentation.
  • Present to team members how a new feature should look and function, along with its goals and purpose.
  • Develop contacts with companies and customers to learn how training works in practice, best practices, etc., to develop the education of the future.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous work experience in the gaming industry with game design.
  • Familiar with Unreal Engine
  • At least two years of studies in game design.
  • Have design documentation written by you that can be shown.
  • Good knowledge of English.

  • High level of communication, both verbally and in presentation material.
  • Strong self-drive and initiative.
